Trusting God when we can’t see the en…….

The title wasn’t a typo, it is what it is. Sometimes we really can see the ……d, but know this, that with God and following Him, the end is always there and He knows how to get us there. “Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Isaiah 46;9-10

This can truly be one of those “easier said than done moments“, but rest assured God will meet us right in the middle of what’s bothering us, burdening us, and consuming our thoughts, and usher us into a place of peace while He works out all the details. According to Isaiah 46:10, the en…d has already been declared, it just isn’t always revealed to us. That’s why we learn to trust God and walk by faith.

So what do we do when things don’t seem to be working out? We keep trusting God and trusting His process.

So what happens when we start feeling impatient and feel as though we need to do something or we need to make something happen? We pray and seek God for help to resist the temptation to “help Him out.”

So what do we do when it feels as if things are at a stand still? We continue to follow His lead and follow His commands.

Isaiah helps us out by reminding us that the counsel of the Lord (His word of instruction to us) shall (an ancient word with FUTURE implications, even in 2019) stand, even in tough and difficult moments, and that the Lord will do ALL HIS pleasure. Did you see that; the Lord WILL DO ALL HIS PLEASURE towards us! Beloved, keep praying and pressing!

To add, the apostle Paul penned some powerful words that will help us persevere to the en……d as well.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus….Philippians 4:6-7

When our hearts have been set to seek God’s will for our lives, He reveals Himself to us in ways that will totally transform they way we live our lives. He speaks to us, and we hear Him. He shows us His hands, and we see them. We begin to experience His sovereignty in supernatural ways, and it elevates our belief, trust, obedience and follow-ship towards. But sometimes, in the midst of all that God teaches and reveals to us about Him, tests come, and we have to exercise and apply what we’ve learned in our daily walk…

  • Being anxious for nothing suggests to us, that we cannot and should not allow our pressing and sometimes overpowering situations and circumstances to cause us to try to go ahead of God, taking His matters into our own hands, ESPECIALLY when we know that He’s leading us….
  • The Lord helps us to overcome anxiety when we bring everything that’s pressing and bothering us to Him by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, letting our requests be made known. In other words, when we truly cast all of our cares upon the Lord and leave them there, we should posture ourselves in praise, knowing that He’s got it and that He’s working things out on our behalf, NO MATTER HOW LONG IT TAKES…
  • When we do this, we experience a supernatural exchange with the Lord and He gives us His peace, which surpasses all understanding, which will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus..

My prayer is that the Lord help us to be steadfast in faith, unmovable from the path and places that He leads us, and that we always abound in His perfect will for our lives! In Jesus name, Amen!
