A good name has the power to sock it to an ole’ devil…

The Lord used a very Dear friend of mine today to remind me of how significant our names can be, often times changing the tone and trajectory of any given day or any moment in our lives. What’s in a Name..Again?

Have we lost sight, of the significance of names
like Adam and Eve, and Abel and Cain,
Names have purpose and give meaning to life,
much like our Savior, Jesus, the Christ,
His name has power and authority,
even the demons tremble at the knees,
Our names are significant can’t you see,
So we shouldn’t toss them around frivolously,
combo names may speak of devotion and affection,
but if there’s no meaning, no significance, no direction,
a person may wander and wonder through the corridors of life,
being swallowed up whole by pain, misery, and strife,
they’ll find themselves on the seat of their britches,
cause instead of choosing a good name SOMEONE chose riches…

A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches..Proverbs 22:1
